Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions are a great way to earn gear weapons, equipment and more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that allows you to bring pistols in to the course of. Some players employ it to help reach certain goals, especially those who aim for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an additional gap. If you are using this slot, it is important to remember that you will have to click the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the slot 2 alternative for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider in use makes it much easier to do. This combo can also trigger damage from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it slotted.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled item slot is an amazing feature that lets players bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped like an a gun, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.
The smuggle slots can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices to explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items are covertly stashed in inconspicuous places around the map, and can be found at any time. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects in scenery and objects.
Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions. It allows players to unlock various starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. The options for planning increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the perfect task for every challenge.
Gear Slot
In the beginning of the game, players will find their gear slots quickly become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are full" message which prevents Max from picking new equipment until the old ones are cleared or a larger space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide more inventory space to complete challenges missions. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed it could take some time to get the most inventory slots in the game.
A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same kind) only uses one Gear Slot.
Agency pick-ups
As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your weapon or gear slot, and retrieve them later.
These pickups are especially useful if you have to go through a frisk in the course of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that might otherwise be suspect. However, you can only hide one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Talk to Rainbet at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Then, walk to the designated marker and locate a mob upon arrival.
